Summary[]
Zenmaru saves Kai when an ambush attacks him, and elsewhere, Ranmaru tells Gama that Jinsuke is dying from a disease.
Plot[]
Kai pins Mario down and tells him that he isn't going to be made a liar infront of his brother and that he will kill Mario. Zenmaru wonders why he wants to settle things between his brother. Mario then tells Kai to come with his to the shogunate and explains why Kai should join him. Kai then tells him that he will only serve Jinsuke and that he won't disappoint his brother anymore. Mario then says that its to bad and two men come from the other room. Kai then thinks about how he let his guard down and is stabbed by the two men. The two men then go to finish off Kai, but Zenmaru cuts them down. Mario then asks Zenmaru, why he saved Kai, which Zenmaru says that he didn't want his brother to die. Zenmaru then says that he will take Mario down, which Mario says that he will cut both of them down.
Elsewhere, Manjirou is heading to Naoyoshi's location and wonders is Naoyoshi is still alive. Manjirou then hears a voice and notices Gama, Naoyoshi, and Ranmaru. Naoyoshi then tells Ranmaru that the fight is over, but Ranmaru insists on fighting. Gama then asks why Naoyoshi is interfiring with his fight. Naoyoshi then tells Gama that Ranmaru risked his life to protect him, and that Ranmaru and Gama are irreplaceable friends to him. Gama then walks away and says that he doesn't feel like killing him anymore. Gama then tells Manjirou to watch Naoyoshi. Manjirou then asks where Gama is going, which Gama says that he is going to see his old man. Ranmaru then tells Gama to stop, which Gama says that he is not going to finish him off. Ranmaru then tells Gama that Jinsuke is dying from a disease , which Gama is shocked. Ranmaru then says that Jinsuke will die soon.
