Chapter 40 is the fortieth chapter of the Gamaran series.

Shinnojou tells the rest to go on, and then tells Misaku that he is surprised that Misaku returned to the demon's lair.
Summary[]
Shinnoujou remembers when he first meet Misaku and then faces against him again.
Plot[]
Shinnojou tells Gama and Zenmaru to head to the location and to leave the Souen School to him. Shinnojou then tells Misaku that he is surprised that Misaku is back in the demon's lair. Miskau then asks who he is, which Shinnojou tells him that he is the one that gave him that scar.
Shinnojou then remembers 10 years ago, when he was a student of the Itten School and was to marry Sachi. Then one day, when Misaku showed up and killed everyone, Shinnojou attack him and cut his eye. Miraku then let Shinnojou live, and told him to get stronger and one day they will play again.
Misaku then remembers him, and says that he was from the Itten School. Shinnojou then tells him that he joined the Ogame School and obtained the madness that Misaku talked about. Misaku then expresses his joy of meeting Shinnojou again. Amane then interrupts and says that he won't let some no name to face Misaku and challenges Shinnojou. Shinnojou then quickly beheads Amane. Shinnojou then tells the others to go. Shinnojou then tells Misaku that he will show him that techniques that he learned. The Ogame School and Ranmaru the run to the location. While running they discuss about Shinojou's strength. Ranmaru then tells Gama that their opponent are strong.
At the location, Shingo camplains that about how weak that Tamagakushi ninja's are. Omiya then informs that their opponent is the son of Jinsuke. Naokatsu then tells them that he wants them to win.
