Hakuryuu was a member of an unknown School hired by Fujibayashi Saizou to kill Naoyoshi Washitzu between the first and second turns of the Tournament.
Appearence[]
Hakuryuu is a stern-looking man with thin eyes and only a few hair at the top of his head, pulled back in a knot. He wears a simple black kimono with with borders and very large sleeves, and what seems to be a white sleeveless shirt under it, and black shoes.
Personality[]
Not much of his personality is shown, but Hakuryuu seems to be very serious and professional, rarely losing his temper.
Plot[]
Hakuryuu is first see in an alley with Agon and the other unnamed companion as Saizou spies on Naoyoshi. Later he kills Naoyoshi's attendant with a katana, commenting on the weapon's edge. When Shinnojou and Zenmaru arrives killing the third member, Hakuryuu and Agon reveal their true weapons and prepare to fight. Hakuryuu braces himself for Shinnojo's attack, ready to smash his sword with his axes, but is caught by surprise by Shin's Gekirin attack and wounded. As Shin and Zenmaru prepares to question him, Saizou finish him off by throwing a roped kunai in his forehead, killing him istantly before he can talk.
Abilities[]
Despite wielding a katana at first, Hakuryuu is actually an axeman, capable of wielding two ornated axes at once. Thanks to their weight, they can easily break swords and even katana blades with ease, giving them an edge in battle against swordsmen. Hakuryuu's only unnamed technique is a stance with the axes crossed in front of him, which he then uses in a scissor movement to break the weapon of the enemy.
